On behalf of the US National Park Service, PC&A evaluated historic trees and the potential impact of proposed seawall repairs on them.  PC&A developed detailed mitigation measures and assisted in developing construction procedures to minimize the impact of heavy construction in close proximity to the trees.  Subsequently, PC&A was retained by the contractor to assist in overseeing tree protection and treatments as construction proceeds.
